Insert a photo or video as a cover image
Apart from photos or images, Webmag allows you to also use MP4 or YouTube videos as background display for your header area. In order to include one of those media in the top section of your project, select e.g. the snippet "Header:01" via the snippet section "Headers" and place it via drag & drop at the preferred position in the editor.

Now open the settings by clicking on the small "pencil" icon at the top left of the snippet and open the drop-down menu under "Background". This view now allows you to upload various media and to set the following display options:
1. Display image
You would like to display a picture as your header background? Activate the button under "Background Image" by clicking and set it to "Visible" (= green). Ensure that the buttons for "MP4 Video Poster" and "YouTube Background Video" are inactive in order to hide them at the same time.
2. Display MP4 video
Enable the button for "MP4 Video Poster" and deactivate the checkboxes "Background Image" and "YouTube Background Video". Additionally to your MP4 file, Webmag allows you to also upload a poster image for the visual presentation. Please also take note of the following two tips:
You can upload files with a maximum size of up to 30MB.
If there exists already a URL to an MP4 file, this can simply be entered in the input field.
3. Display YouTube video
Enable the "YouTube Background Video" switch and disable the "Background Image" and "MP4 Video Poster" options at the same time.
