Inserting tables via a snippet

The insertion of a table is done by selecting the tab "Tables & Charts" in the snippet bar. Two different types of tables are available:

"Table", which by default displays a black cell background in row 1 and appears with a thin grid.
"Table 02", designed by default without border lines and with a grey cell background in row 1

The tables can be placed in the desired position in the article easily via drag & drop.

Inserting tables via the toolbar

To insert a table via the our toolbar, simply select a text or open the toolbar by pressing [ctrl]+e (Mac: [cmd]+e). Above the + icon you will find the button to insert a table. Now select the amount of rows and columns the new table is supposed to contain.

Table setting options

By clicking in a cell of the table, a selection of formatting options is shown. For example, the number of columns and rows can be adjusted, cell colour and cell style can be modified or the table header can be edited.

If a part of the text in a cell of the table is marked, a choice of formatting options for the text appears. Also, you can move individual rows of your table simply by using drag & drop.

Note: With just a single click, any table may be converted into a responsive table.
