Text formatting
You can conveniently format individual text passages or the entire text using the toolbar in your Webmag Editor. To do so, highlight the text you wish to format and then hover over the corresponding button. Click it to apply the desired formatting. In some cases, clicking will open a dropdown menu that shows you various additional formatting options for your text elements. Clicking again will deactivate the previously activated formatting. The ability to select multiple options allows for highly customized design.

Bold Text
Hover with the cursor over the B button and click it to make the text bold.
Italic Text
Hover with the cursor over the i button and click it to make the text italic.

Change Text Color
Hover with the cursor over the "Text Color" button and click it to adjust the font color.

Adjust Inline Content Elements
Hover with the cursor over the "Inline Class" button and click it to access a selection of formatting options. A dropdown menu will open, showing various additional formatting options for your text elements.
- XXXL Font: The previously highlighted text will be displayed in XXXL font size.
- XXL Font: The previously highlighted text will be displayed in XXL font size.
- XL Font: The previously highlighted text will be displayed in XL font size.
- L Font: The previously highlighted text will be displayed in L font size.
- Small Font: The previously highlighted text will be displayed in a small font size.

- Light Font Weight: The previously highlighted text will be displayed in a light, slightly thinned-out font.
- Normal Font Weight: The previously highlighted text will be displayed in a normal-sized font.
- Highlight Text: The highlighted text will be emphasized, with increased spacing to the left, right, top, and bottom.
- No Bottom Spacing: Activate this option if you do not want to add spacing to the next paragraph.
- Collapsible: By activating this feature, the previously highlighted text becomes expandable and collapsible.

- Footnote: The selected text element only becomes visible when the cursor is hovered over the displayed symbol.

- Uppercase: All letters of the previously highlighted text will be displayed in uppercase.
- Align Top: Inline elements such as text sit on a baseline. In this case, the highlighted area extends upward from the baseline.
- Align Middle: The inline element is centered on the baseline.
- Align Bottom: The highlighted inline element aligns below the baseline.
- No Word Break: When a line break occurs, words are not hyphenated but instead carried over to the new line as a whole.

Additional Text Formats
Hover with the cursor over the "More Text Formats" button and click it to open a toolbar with a selection of additional formatting options.

- Underline: Hover with the cursor over the U button and click to underline the previously highlighted text.
- Strikethrough: Hover with the cursor over the S button and click to strike through the text.
- Subscript: Hover with the cursor over the X₂ button and click to make the text subscript.
- Superscript: Hover with the cursor over the X² button and click to make the text superscript.
- Font Family: Use this button to open a dropdown menu with font families, allowing you to assign a different font to the text section.
- Font Size: Use this button to open a dropdown menu with font sizes, allowing you to adjust the font size of the text section.
- Background Color: Use the "Background Color" button to adjust the background color of the selected text area.
- Clear Formatting: Highlight the text whose formatting you want to remove. Then hover with the cursor over the "Clear Formatting" button and click to remove all formatting applied to the highlighted text.
Text Alignment
- Align Left: Highlight the portion of your text that you want to align. Then hover with the cursor over the "Align Left" button and click to change the text alignment.
- Align Center: Highlight the portion of your text that you want to align. Then hover with the cursor over the "Align Center" button and click to change the text alignment.
Heading Formatting
Highlight the heading you wish to format. Then hover with the cursor over the "Formatting" button and click to choose from a selection of preset H font sizes for the heading structure.

Additional Paragraph Formats
Highlight the paragraph you wish to format. Then hover with the cursor over the "More Paragraph Formats" button and click to access a selection of additional formatting options. Clicking opens a toolbar that allows you to apply further formatting to your paragraphs.

- Align Right: Highlight the portion of your text that you want to align. Then hover with the cursor over the "Align Right" button and click to change the text alignment.
- Justify: Highlight the portion of your text that you want to align. Then hover with the cursor over the "Justify" button and click to change the text alignment so that it is flush on both the left and right sides.
- Numbered Lists: Highlight the portion of your text that should be the first item in your numbered list. Then hover with the cursor over the "Numbered List" button and click to assign a number to that line. Subsequent lines will be automatically numbered as you press Enter to create a line break.
Additional numbering variants are available by clicking the small arrow to the right of "Numbered List" in the toolbar. The following variants are available: Lowercase letters, Greek alphabet, Roman numerals (lowercase), Uppercase letters, Roman numerals (uppercase).
You can change the chosen numbering variant at any time.

- Unnumbered Lists: Highlight the portion of your text that should be the first item in your unnumbered list. Then hover with the cursor over the "Unnumbered List" button and click to assign a bullet point to that line. Subsequent lines will be automatically listed as you press Enter to create a line break.
Additional bullet variants are available by clicking the small arrow to the right of "Unnumbered List" in the toolbar. The following variants are available: Circle, Filled circle, Square.
You can change the chosen bullet variant at any time.

- Line Height: Highlight the paragraph whose line spacing you want to change. Then hover with the cursor over the "Line Height" button and click to open a dropdown menu. The editor offers you a selection of line spacings (0.5 – 3) to choose from.

- Decrease Indent: Highlight the portion of your text whose indent you want to adjust. Then hover with the cursor over the "Decrease Indent" button and click to move the text to the left and reduce the indent.
- Increase Indent: Highlight the portion of your text whose indent you want to adjust. Then hover with the cursor over the "Increase Indent" button and click to move the text to the right and increase the indent.

- Paragraph Formatting: Under "Paragraph Formatting," you will find additional formatting options. Highlight the portion of your text that you want to format. Then hover with the cursor over the "Paragraph Formatting" button and click to open the dropdown menu.

The following options are available:
- Animate: fade-in: When activating the "Animate: fade-in" option, the previously highlighted text will appear with a fade-in effect after publication.
- Animate: fade-up: When activating the "Animate: fade-up" option, the previously highlighted text will appear with an upward fade-in effect after publication.
- Animate: fade-right: When activating the "Animate: fade-right" option, the previously highlighted text will appear with an effect sliding in from the left after publication.
- Animate: fade-left: When activating the "Animate: fade-left" option, the previously highlighted text will appear with an effect sliding in from the right after publication.
- Animate: fade-down: When activating the "Animate: fade-down" option, the previously highlighted text will appear with a downward fade-in effect after publication.
- Animate: zoom-in: When activating the "Animate: zoom-in" option, the focus is placed on the previously highlighted text section, with the camera zooming in to center on this section.
- Animate: zoom-out: When activating the "Animate: zoom-out" option, the focus moves away from the previously highlighted text section, with the camera zooming out from this section.
- No Bottom Spacing: When activating the "No Bottom Spacing" option, the previously highlighted text will be displayed without spacing to the text below it.
Insert Link
Highlight the portion of your text to which you want to add a link. Then hover with the cursor over the "Insert Link" button and click to open the input form for adding the link. Enter the desired URL and provide the text that should be displayed as a preview for the URL. Also choose whether the link should open in the same tab or in a new tab when clicked.

After inserting the link, additional editing options become available. These options appear each time you click on the link in the editor.

- Edit Link: Click "Edit Link" to modify the settings you chose in the first step.
- Remove Link: Click "Remove Link" to delete the stored URL from the editor.
- Style: Under "Style," you will find many additional options to customize the color and style of your link to suit your needs.
- Internal Link: When selected, a dropdown menu opens that automatically lists the content you have already created and published.
- Open in Modal Window: The stored link will be opened in a modal window, meaning the action is limited to this element of the graphical user interface.
- Upload PDF: Attach a PDF that will automatically open when the link is clicked. Either drag and drop the desired PDF file into the window or select it using the standard method.
Insert Image
Click "Insert Image" to add an image at the desired location via the toolbar. Simply highlight a text section, select "Insert Image," and then upload your image as usual. Either drag and drop the desired file into the window or select it via upload. Confirm with OK to insert the file into the editor.
After inserting the image, additional editing options become available. These options appear each time you click on the image in the editor.
- Alignment: Click the "Alignment" button to choose the alignment for the image. Available options are: left, center, and right.
- Image Caption: Click the "Image Caption" button to add a subtitle to your image. Clicking opens a toolbar with numerous formatting options.
- Remove: Click the "Remove" button to delete the previously inserted image.
- Replace Image: Click the "Replace Image" button to swap the previously inserted image for a different one.
- Insert Link: Click the "Insert Link" button to add a link to the previously inserted image that will open automatically when the image is clicked.
- Text Wrapping: Choose which text wrapping option ("Inline" or "Wrap Text") you prefer for the image.
- Style: Under "Style," you will find many additional options to customize the style of your image to suit your needs.
- Alt Text: Alt text makes the content and/or function of your image accessible to blind users, as it can be read aloud by assistive technologies such as screen readers.
- Resize: Adjust the proportions of the image.
Add Audio File
Click the "Add Audio File" button to attach an audio file to your image. After publication, the audio will either play or stop when the image is clicked. You also have the option to add an additional image that will be displayed while the audio file is playing.
Insert Video
Clicking the "Insert Video" button allows you to embed a video in your body text. Choose between "From URL," "Embedded Code," or "Upload Video."

Inline Snippets
Click "Inline Snippets" to insert various inline snippet variants. The following variants are available:
- Button
- 2 Buttons
- 2 Text Columns
- Author

Additional Rich Formats
Select "More Rich Formats" to insert items such as tables, emoticons, or special characters.

Insert Table
Clicking "Insert Table" opens a window where you can select the desired number of columns and rows for the table to be inserted. Hover with the cursor over the table grid to find the table size that suits you. A single click inserts the table into the body text.

After inserting a table, additional options become available to format and customize it as desired. These options become visible when you click on the table.

- Table Header: Click the "Table Header" button to add an additional, visually highlighted row at the top of the table.
- Remove Table: Click the "Remove Table" button to delete the table.
- Row: Clicking "Row" gives you the option to insert additional rows ("Insert Row Before" or "Insert Row After") or to delete the entire row.
- Column: Clicking "Column" gives you the option to insert additional columns ("Insert Column Before" or "Insert Column After") or to delete the entire column.
- Table Formatting: Click the "Table Formatting" button to see even more formatting options for the table.
- Responsive Table: Click this button to make the table adjust its size on mobile devices.
- Cell: Here you have the option to merge cells together.
- Cell Color: Click the "Cell Color" button to customize the color of the cell as desired.
- Vertical Alignment: Adjust the vertical alignment of the text in the respective cell. Choose between "Top," "Center," or "Bottom."
- Horizontal Alignment: Adjust the horizontal alignment of the text in the respective cell. Choose between "Align Left," "Align Center," "Align Right," or "Justify."
- Cell Style: Clicking "Cell Style" opens several additional options to format the cells according to your preferences.

Font Awesome
Click the "Font Awesome" button to insert font-based icons.
Emoticons
Click the "Emoticons" button to insert an emoticon at the desired location.
Special Characters
Click the "Special Characters" button to insert a special character at the desired location.
Embed URL
Click the "Embed URL" button to embed a URL with a preview.
Insert Break
Click the "Insert Break" button to insert a break at the desired location.
Insert Horizontal Line
Insert a horizontal line to visually separate text areas.
Undo
Undo your last action with a single click on this button.
Redo
Redo your last action with a single click on this button. This allows you to step forward again after having undone a previous step.
