Non-breaking spaces and hyphenations

Non-breaking spaces

You want to insert a non-breaking space character in your text? This secure space character prevents not only a new unwanted line at a certain point in your text but also prevents automatic line breaks.

An example of this is the salutation. If you do not want the salutation "Dr" to be separated from the name "Muller" by a new line start, use the non-breaking space. The non-breaking space can also be useful when it comes to size or time specifications. They improve the readability of your text.

So if you don’t want "Dr Muller", "10 m" or "12 o’clock" to be shown in separate lines, simply enter "Dr Muller", "10 m" or "12 o’clock" in your editors text field.

Hyphenations
